To be clear, what this means is that the AI model being used across the world for everything from customer service, to HR training, to journalism, knows what knotting is and could, without the right guardrails, explain to an unassuming user why an Omega needs to produce slick in order to mate.

gotta love the pearl clutching here. the purity of the machine has been corrupted with Internet Filth and now can't be trusted, what if it says a porn word to a customer

of course we've been dealing with language-generating systems that know what knotting is doing customer service and HR and so on forever, and you, yes you dear reader, might be one of them already

there is a broader thrust to the article that is, roughly, ‘GPT has been caught red-handed as having been trained on fanfic and this is Bad, because plagiarism or something’, my thoughts on which i have already gone over in detail

i would like to remind the internet though what they thought the last time the question 'can any one person own the concept of the omegaverse such that anyone else using it is plagiarism?’ came up.

Top 5 endbringer powers, assuming you don't want to destroy cities and commit mass murder:

5. The Simurgh. Ziz's power seems downright miserable to have, knowing at all times the exact long-term consequences of every action you and those around you make is a fate worse than death imo. Mimicing tinker+thinker powers is useless in our world. Mind control screams are theoretically valuable if you ignore how unethical they are. Telekinesis is nice I suppose, but not good enough to make up for that first problem.

4. Leviathan's every movement generates gallons of water (which isn't even safe to drink) so you cannot live without destroying your place of residence and your belongings and outing yourself as superpowered, unless this power can be turned off which to the best of my memory we are never given any indication is the case. Macrohydrokinesis isn't really useful outside of devestating a city. Best case scenario: this is super speed and water-sense. Worat-case scenario: you never get to be dry or own anything that isn't ruined again. I wouldn't make that gamble.

3. What are Behemoth's powers good for outside of kaiju-ing? You can protect yourself from getting attacked, but only if you see it coming (how often do you get harmed irl by something that the Endbtinger durability can't already handle?). You can sense techtonic plate movement... how is that worthwhile? You can glow with radiation, which might be nice to help see in the dark if it wasn't so dangerous for other people. If you really want to generate flames or bolts of electricity you can just buy objects that do that already. You might as well not get any superpowers beyond the universal endbringer traits.

2. How good of a power you'd get from Bohu mostly comes down to how much control you think she has when using it. A charitable interpretation still puts this power as pretty mid though - being able to restructure archetecture and landscapes is a showy power but not relevant to most people's lives.

1. Khonsu gives you global (and maybe beyond?) teleportation and the ability to generate cylinders of accelerated time which you get to dictate what can enter/exit and you get forcefields inside of you and some form of flight. No downsides come with this, the powers are actually worth having, and he seems to have full control over what he does which means you would too.

doesn’t seem particularly supported by the text. the ‘everything at all times’ bit, that is, obviously she can in fact know the long term consequences of actions if she wants to.

i expect leviathan can also turn off his water shadow but that seems at least in the realm of speculation
